My name is Abhinav Gupta. I work on the dense, multi-step software people use all day, building design systems, prototyping the difficult flows, and shipping them with cross-functional teams.The more I design, the more I care about what happens after the click. Anyone can make a screen look calm. The harder thing is making it safe to be wrong on — quick to move through, and forgiving when someone moves too quickly.     Whether it was program and round setup, the form builder and applicant experience, reviewer scoring workflows, or disbursements and reporting, Abhinav had a rare ability to take a tangled set of requirements and turn them into something that just makes sense to use. He'd sit with the actual problem first — how a program admin thinks, where a reviewer gets stuck, what a grantee needs to see — and only then design.
